The NavBar Type dialog box enables you to set the type and style for Navigation Bars. Each NavBar type can have its own style settings. The Styles Layout preview will display the most commonly used types: NavBars for navigation between Home Page and First Level Pages, and Sequence to All Same Level Pages.

The dialog box has the following sections:

The Navigation section enables you to select the type of the navigation bar. There are three types of navigation bars: The Style section enables you to select the navigation style. You can select the following options: The options available in this section are based on the type of Navigation Bar you have selected in the Navigation section.

If you have selected To Other Pages navigation, all six options are available.

If you have selected To Frame-Content Overlays in same page navigation, the options available are based on the Target Frame you have chosen. If you have selected <Current Frame> as Target Frame, then three options are available - Siblings of the same parent, Sequence to all same level pages and Custom - to any page or frame. Otherwise, only two options - Siblings of the same parent and Custom - to any page or frame - are available.

If you have selected To Bookmarks in same Frame-Content Overlay navigation, only the Siblings of the same parent option is available.
